Description
The NFL’s Salute to Service campaign is an annual initiative that honors and supports members of the military and their families. The campaign was first launched in 2011 and has since become an important part of the league’s efforts to give back to the men and women who serve our country. During the month of November, all 32 NFL teams wear special Salute to Service uniforms and gear, including jerseys, hats, and hoodies, which are available for purchase by fans.
The proceeds from the sale of Salute to Service merchandise go to organizations such as the USO, Pat Tillman Foundation, and Wounded Warrior Project, which provide support and resources to military members, veterans, and their families. The campaign also includes pregame ceremonies, flag displays, and other activities to honor the military and raise awareness of their sacrifices.
